2008 Girl Scout Camp

May 27th -30th. MaKenzie was not in girl scouts this year but they asked if I would help again this year. They have boys unit called BOGS that all the boys are in for parents that are working the camp. I help with this unit. I have to tell you it is alot of fun!! I think the boys have more fun then the girls!
They had the time of their life -at the end of the week they said "we are coming back next year even if you aren't mom!"

Here is one of the fun parts of the boys unit -our unit was way away from the girls. You had to go across the creek which was a little high this year due to rain. We had several people fall in but they were still holding the rope luckily! Then we walked across a huge valley, up some wooden stairs built into the hill and then up to the Big Red Barn.
One day we got to make our own fire and cook our lunch.

This year MaKenzie got to try archry. I have to say it was harder then it looked but she had a great time.
