2008 Worlds of Fun cont.

Chris riding the patriot.
Ryan had a great time in the bumper cars while the others road so bigger rides. He had to have done this 10 times.

Chris, MaKenzie, and Brandon
Alright here it is the Mamba! MaKenzie rode it last year with Chris and I couldn't believe it. I was totally fine that Brandon wasn't tall enough to ride it. Well... not this year and he wanted me to go with him. I have to tell you I was truly panicked!! We both made it through and it was pretty fun.. after I started to breath again!

The old Taxi's are a favorite stop as well. We had a great time. We were there from open to close and road pretty much everything and some of them multiple times! Chris and I were so exhausted and dizzy at the end of the day we could hardly walk out of the park! :)

2008 Worlds of Fun

Oops forgot to add our Worlds of Fun trip in June. We celebrated the kids awesome year of school and went to WOF. We have kinda started a tradition of when we go there we have to do the same ride first everytime!
So here is Chris and Ryan and then I am sitting with Brandon and MaKenzie trying to get their picture.

This is the spinning dragon and boy did we spin on the spinning dragon! I think I counted like at least 10 times if not more like 15 times on there. It was the only one Ryan could go on so there were several times we ran on and rode it, ran off and rode it again, did that again, and again!

Summer at Grandpa and Grandma's

Grandma bought all kinds of decorations for the kids to decorate their bikes/scooters for the parade. They really enjoyed that. Then she also made shirts for all of them to wear! She had a treasure hunt for them to go on with prizes and much more!!

You can't really see them but they are behind the fire truck in the parade.

Brandon's big catch of the week! He has been searching to catch a gecko while there. Shannon found one in her bathroom and ran out to tell Brandon who caught it. We then brought it home and his name was "Blendy." We spent every waking minute worrying about him and even went to the pet store to buy him crickets. Well he just wasn't in his normal home and we woke up one morning to Blendy being gone. It was very sad moment in our home. Brandon really cared about him and spent his own money feeding him. So we did a buriel.
It is always fun at grandpa and grandma's lake house. So much to do. Boat rides, driving the boat, playing at the beach, going on walks, riding bikes, swimming in the pool. The lastest is getting the tube out and jumping and wrestling on it with it tied to the dock. They have a blast!
Thank you mom and dad for ALL you do for us while we are there!!

2008 Summer trip to Grandpa and Grandma's

Kids relaxing and watching a movie in the kids room.

Carson standing up and the kids surrouding is every move. I don't think there was a minute he was entertained or maybe it was overwhelmed! :)

Always nice that we have time to sit down and play games with the kids!

Are they just too cute?! You can't separate them all week! So glad that we are able to get together and see each other. Wish it was more often!

Ryan and Sarah played so well together. They were in taking turns drawing together. Too cute!

2008 baseball stud

Brandon playing for the Pioneers. Did awesome this summer! I noted in a earlier date some great plays.

2008 Swim lessons

Ok, I had to capture this moment!! This is our third year of swim lessons and the first year you will see Ryan smiling!!

He cried the past two years pretty much every day he went but yet we would leave and go to our pool and he would act like a fish!! This year -way better! Hardly any crying and look at that awesome smile!

MaKenzie loved swim lessons and did a fantastic job! She was alot more into learning all the skills this year and of course her best friend was in her class so that made things even better!

Brandon has the talent for swimming! He has always loved it and does very well. He catches onto the skills quickly and can do them pretty smoothly. Although if he doesn't have the mask he would rather not swim. Near the end of the summer he was doing better figuring out just regular goggles and breathing with the nose not being covered but still liked his mask best.

2008 Father's Day

The kids were so excited to celebrate Father's Day! They made a sign for Chris and hung it up in the kitchen. It said "We Love You Dad!"

Then they had his gifts all set up on the table.
